Common questions

What do I need?
An iPhone or iPad on iOS 26.4 or later. Ask Recall (talking to Recall) needs an iPhone with Apple Intelligence turned on. Everything else works on any supported device.
Why didn't my alarm make a sound?
Open Don't Forget (or My Pills), tap Page Settings at the bottom, turn on Alarm Mode, and allow alarms when Recall asks. Alarm Mode rings even with the phone on silent. Test the alarm in 15 seconds on the same screen lets you check it.
How do I get my information on a new iPhone?
Sign in with the same Apple Account and keep iCloud turned on for Recall. Your information comes across automatically.
How do I share with a family member or caregiver?
Checklists and Medical Info can be shared live from their Share menu. To let a family caregiver help with your reminders, pills and bills, go to App Settings → Family Access.
Can I get back something I deleted?
Yes, for a while — each section has Recently Deleted. Open it and tap Restore.
Is Recall medical advice?
No. Medical Info and My Pills keep records for your own reference. Always follow your doctor's and pharmacist's instructions.
Who can see my data?
Only you, and anyone you choose to share with. See the privacy policy.
